March 04, 2010: “Reduce the Emissions and Grow the Economy at the Same Time, Environmental and Economic Sustainability - Bringing the Swedish Model to Ohio”
According to the Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt: Since 1993 Sweden's economy has grown over 40% and at the same time the carbon dioxide emissions have been reduced by at least 10%.
Last year, Andrew Walleck, a management consultant in technical and marketing areas, received a scholarship through the Swedish-American Exchange Fund to go to Sweden and meet with government and industry to study how Sweden has been able to become a world front runner in developing and adopting energy, environmental, and economic sustainability programs.
