To meet with companies similar to Ericsson and learn from their mode of operation as successful large companies among many start-ups.

To provide the opportunity for the Swedish Executives to discuss the following topics with American colleagues/partners: HR’sMission, Compensation Strategy, Cultural Strategy, Learning and Development, Attraction and Retention as well as Future Trends.

The goal with the Aftonbladet program

Identify companies and organizations in the Bay Area and Greater Los Angeles that is of interest by Aftonbladet to visit and to meet with companies similar to Aftonbladet and learn from their mode of operation.

The Executive MBA Program at Uppsala University is an advanced management training program with a clear and distinct profile. The program demands five years of previous relevant management experience and one relevant bachelor degree.

To study the American way of performing business, with close studies on interesting American and Swedish companies localized in the San Francisco/Bay Area Region.

The Uppsala University Executive MBA program objectives

Identify companies and organizations in the San Francisco/Bay area that is of interest for the MBA students to visit and to have close meetings between the students and relevant companies and organizations connected to international affairs.

The goal with the Telia program

To study the American way of performing business, with close studies on interesting American and Swedish companies localized in the San Francisco/Bay Area Region.

The Telia program objectives

1. To meet with companies similar or of inspirational interest to Telia.

2. To learn about new trends within the American telecommunication market.

3. To meet with companies similar to Telia and learn from their mode of operation.

The goal with the Allbröd program

To organize a successful and rewarding inspirational trip for the 16 Allbröd representatives in order to study the banking industry environment connected to the American and Canadian bread market.

The Allbröd program objectives

To meet with companies similar or of inspirational interest to Allbröd and to learn about new trends within the American and Canadian bread market.

The focus was placed on the California market with a focus on companies within the field of health and crisis management. Included in the highlights of the trip was a highly interesting meeting at Stanford. A meeting with Emeritus Professor Stig Hagstrom, former Chancellor of Sweden’s universities, was arranged at Stanford. The meeting provided a historical perspective on innovation at Stanford and Silicon Valley by Sr. Researcher David Nordfors who spoke about innovative journalism’s lesson for public information.

The program put together by SACC-SF/SV was efficient and highly appreciated by the participants. Sven Rune Bergqvist, leader of the team, spoke for all when he concluded that “the focus of the visitors program was in line with the directions given to SACC and the visits were of the highest quality and added substantial value to our trip”.
