E-Days NotesSwedish-American Entrepreneurial DaysGothenburg, November 8-10, 2010The Swedish–American Entrepreneurial Days has become a most important trade and networking event, providing an effective platform for trade and commerce between the U.S. and Sweden. Since 1997, the Entrepreneurial Days has enabled small, medium, and large companies to connect and develop new business. The E-Days take place twice a year; once in the U.S. and once in Sweden to best serve business relations between the two countries. This year's Swedish E-Days event was recently held in Gothenburg. It gathered around 450 participants whereof 150 from the US. The program included high level keynote speakers, workshops on how to make business with the US, business matchmaking sessions with a total of around 1,100 half-hour contacts, and industry specific programs in the fields of "Waste Recycling & Biofuels", "Sustainable Transport Systems", "Energy Efficient Buildings & Sustainable Community Planning", and "Venture, Innovation & Entrepreneurship". SACC-Ohio was represented at this event and established contacts with a number of persons and companies, interested in either establishing their own business or developing contacts with potential partners in the US.
